The hotel's location was stunning near the church. The staff where really helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was quiet. There were exceptionally comfortable beds and an electric kettle, a microwave, and central heating inside the room.

The location is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful lake and picturesque valley views. The small village, with its historic chateau, adds to the charm. The recently renovated bedrooms are tastefully decorated and the owners pay great attention to detail, providing quality bed linen and comfortable antique beds. The dinner served in the Tavern is made with local ingredients, including fresh trout from the lake. The family-run business offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the owners go out of their way to ensure guests feel at home. The value for the price is exceptional, making it a rare find.

We had an excellent trip with great breakfast. The staff were fantastic and lovely and the location was marvellous on top of the dam. Moreover, it's adjacent to France in recent years, and a lake;))

I had a great time at this hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. The restaurant had delicious food, the room was cozy, and the staff were pet-friendly. Just what you'd expect in a fancy French residence.

Oh, how I loved the towel that had clearly seen better days. It added a touch of vintage charm to my bath time.

I had such a wonderful surprise during my recent stay at a charming bed and breakfast in a remote and picturesque location. The setting, opposite a stunning lake at the bottom of a peaceful valley, was truly breathtaking. The historic building, which had been lovingly renovated, provided a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern convenience. The attention to detail in the beautifully decorated bedrooms, with their exquisite furnishings and comfortable beds, was truly remarkable. The hospitality of the hostess was exceptional, as she warmly welcomed me and ensured that my every need was met. I enjoyed engaging conversations with her in both English and French.

We stayed at this charming B&B in a quiet village for two nights. The house is a genuine relic with character and the breakfast in the real knights dining room was a unique experience. The property is beautiful and surrounded by lovely surroundings. The rooms are low-tech and cozy, and the communal sitting room in the loft was a great place to relax. The restaurant owned by the B&B served fantastic food. It's a must-visit spot for anyone doing a cross-continent trip in eastern France. Don't miss it!

    Recommend this hotel.

Hidden gem in a quaint village with jaw-dropping surroundings. Delightful property with charming, tech-free rooms and a fantastic loft sitting room for guests. Superb dinners in the adjacent restaurant, and the shared breakfasts with fellow guests were a superb start to the day. Plus, the dog-friendly policy is a bonus. We'll definitely be back.

A wonderful surprise! The location was stunning, with a beautiful lake and a peaceful valley. The small village had an interesting history and a large chateau. I loved the recently modernized bedrooms, they were tastefully decorated. The dinner served in the Tavern was delicious, especially the fresh trout from the lake. The family running the place was very welcoming, and the attention to detail, like the quality bed linen, was impressive. a delightful find!

The presence of wasps if you left the windows open at night. Other than that, no complaints.
